Among the many rejuvenation techniques available today, there is a procedure that is able to fulfill the dream of every patient who comes to the Clinic - to look younger quickly, subtly and painlessly, so that the effect lasts as long as possible and the face still appears natural. We are talking about threadlifting using mesothreads. This procedure is available to everyone at the EMC Aesthetic Clinic.
Experts have been searching for an effective rejuvenation procedure for a long time, and at last, it was found by doctors in South Korea. They have created the unique, very thin strands of polydioxanone, a hypoallergenic biomaterial, which is completely safe for the body. This substances activates fibroblasts, which begin the process of neocollagenesis (active collagen synthesis), which is responsible for the plumpness and elasticity of the skin. Mesothreads are classified according to their length and are placed at certain points, but their direction is set by the specialist, based on the individual characteristics of the patient. The thread is located under the skin and is thus not visible. Angiogenesis (the formation of vascular tissue around the threads) occurs during the first 2 weeks after the procedure, and after 8 months the mesothreads dissolve completely, yielding their place to the newly formed type 1 collagen. At this point, you can say that the threads have done their job, by helping to create a new frame for the skin. Externally this process is reflected in noticeably plumper and smoother skin, and tightening of the soft tissues.
Mesothreads are designed to fix a whole range of aesthetic defects. First of all, they solve the problem of age-related gravitational ptosis (drooping of the lower third of the face). In addition, they have a smoothing and plumping effect, while also being lipolytic. They can be used both for the face and the body (to lift the buttocks or décolletage).
The mesothread insertion procedure takes less than half an hour. Once the procedure is completed, only tiny spots are seen in places where the threads were introduced, are these disappear in a few days. The patient can judge the final result after 1.5-2 months. During this time, the process of neocollagenesis causes sagging tissue to disappear, and the skin to become smooth and plump. These excellent results are maintained for the next 2 years. Another important advantage of threadlifting is that it is fully compatible with other cosmetic procedures, both apparatus and injections.
